Nesting

I am at week 25 now and boy do I have a feeling I am going to get big AND the nesting stage has begun.  I sat down tonight and David and I made a list of what needs to be brought in from garage storage and what needs to be moved out of the current guest room, that will become the nursery, and what needs to be moved out of the office in order for the office to double as a guest room!!
Luckily our shopping list isn't that big just a couple items we are using Noah's crib and a dresser and chair from my room growing up so that helps with the big pieces of furniture.  I hope to post pictures along the way or at least when the rooms are completed.
While cleaning/organizing the office tonight I came across a couple boxes of my old high school pictures and pictures of our college years.  Now I love to scrapbook but not that far back!  What do I do with these boxes of pictures?  Any suggestions?....it seems dumb to leave them in boxes and put them in storage but then again I am not really missing them, I suppose someday our kids might like to see them and make fun of us.....?  Yikes, what to do, what to do?

Christmas 2010 (aka: a lot of pictures)

I bet you didn't know dinosaurs and Lightening McQueen were at the birth of Jesus.

Noah probably trusting his parents a little too much by getting into that box and letting us push him down the small hill in our yard.

Almond bark goodness and a Christmas movie.

Our first Christmas morning in our home!!
Noah loves opening presents - he helped everyone unwrap.

A dishtowel and hockey sticks make a great batman costume...at least that is what a certain 3-year old told me.
 More presents!!

How many adults does is take to put together a puzzle for ages 3+ (sorry ladies, I had to give you a hard time)
A little bit of lacing with aunties.
A little bit of wrestling with Papa
 Plugging into Dad's iTouch.
 The family (minus Rami)
Noah and baby Jack!  (I can't wait to see him with his little brother, hopefully he will still be smiling)
Max, Noah and Gus!

Fun with friends

We had a little get together last week with friends, food and SUGAR.  The kids (and adults) had a great time decorating cookies for the season.

Any Snow Will Do

Noah was so excited last week when he woke up and saw some flurries of snow gathering on the ground.  He ran into our bedroom with excitement saying, 'Daddy, Daddy SNOW!'  There wasn't much on the ground but we made the most of it.

The snow is all gone now but we hope to see it again soon.

Gingerbread Houses

A family tradition for David's family is decorating gingerbread houses every year.  David and I were even able to spread that tradition to Texas for the last five years but this year we brought it back to the Mom and Dad's and it was Noah's first year to really get into it.  (I will also mention, although I don't like to, the tradition was broken last year, shh - don't tell)
